A COMPLEX SYSTEM
behind the matter
Everything is made out of energy, so is our body. Beyond its visible structure, it’s a complex condensed energetic system.
Like any system, it works with a certain logic that can be understood. Across different cultures and times, this energetic system has been studied to understand deeper its influence, its key role in physical-mental-emotional health.
We are a living field of energy, constantly interacting with the world around us. Understanding and nurturing our energetic body is not only a path to better health, but also a gateway to deeper self-discovery, spiritual awakening, and an empowered way of living.
“If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” – Nikola Tesla
SUBTLE FRAMEWORK
The energetic body is not a metaphor, it’s the subtle framework that shapes our physical form and life experience. It exists in several layers:
- The physical body – our material form.
- The etheric body – the first energetic layer, closely connected to the physical one.
- The emotional body – where feelings and emotional patterns are stored.
- The mental body – home to beliefs, thoughts, and mental patterns.
- The spiritual body – the highest, most expansive layer.
These layers interact constantly, and changes in one can ripple through all the others.

FLOW OF LIFE
From the meridians of traditional Chinese Medicine to the chakras of the Indian yogic tradition, and the energy channels recognized in shamanic practices worldwide, these models all describe a dynamic network where life force energy flows.

CHANNELS
Known as nadis in Indian tradition and meridians in Chinese medicine, energetic channels are the highways of energy connecting forming a vast network through which life force circulates.
There are thousands of them, flowing through and around the organs, glands, nerves, and subtle tissues of the body, carrying vital life force wherever it is needed. The main ones are running along the spinal column and linking all major hubs.
It’s through these channels that the body is able to communicate energetically: information flows, imbalances show up, and subtle signals influencing health, vitality, and emotional well-being are transmitted. Think of channels as a dynamic, living network that carries our physical, emotional, and mental experience.

HUBS
Called chakras, dan-tian, those are the key intersections of the energetic channels. Considered as spinning wheels of energy that regulate the flow of life force.
Those hubs can be seen as mirrors reflecting the physical anatomy main components: crown chakra related to the nervous system, throat chakra to thyroid system, heart chakra to respiratory systems, solar plexus to digestive system, sacral chakra & root chakra to reproductive system, etc.
However, these energetic hubs are far more than anatomical reflections – they are dynamic fields of information, constantly vibrating, processing, storing, and transmitting subtle energy that influences our physical, emotional, and mental states.
Each chakra hold a story, our life memory.

FLOW
Energy does not just sit in hubs or flow passively in channels — it moves. This life force, called prana in India, Qi in China, or simply energy in shamanic traditions, is the pure essence that animates all living beings.
This flow depends of the clarity and openness of the channels and hubs.
When pathways are clear, energy circulates freely, nourishing body, mind, and spirit fully. But when blockages, tensions, or imbalances accumulate, the flow slows or stagnates, manifesting as motional turbulence, physical discomfort.
By observing and guiding this flow, it’s possible to reconnect with the body’s innate wisdom and facilitate a deep healing, restore power where needed and access to a higher state of consciousness.
